The Edelbrock Performer Vortec V6 #2519 Marine Intake Manifold is based on the powerful Edelbrock #2111. This dual-plane intake is designed for the engine swap market utilizing 1985 and later Chevy 200-229-262 c.i.d. (3.8L and 4.3L) V6 engines with Vortec heads. With this Marine manifold, boaters can take advantage of the higher flow available with the Vortec head design. Performer Vortec V6 #2519 Marine Intake has provisions for external water bypass and may be used on either Vortec blocks or 1995 and earlier blocks. Designed for use with Edelbrock Marine Series 600 cfm carb, it accepts late model water neck, alternator, HEI and air conditioning. The Edelbrock Performer Vortec V6 #2519 also features a natural aluminum finish for a classic look. For the ultimate "Made in USA" quality, every Edelbrock intake manifold is cast and machined in the USA.
Installation Notes:
• Recommended intake gasket: GM 89017866
• Manifold height: A-3.50", B-4.18"
• Carb pad height: 3.84"
• Port exit dimensions: port exit is 2.05" tall with slanted side walls
• There is a horizontal, rear facing 3/8 pipe vacuum boss like the stock iron manifold.
• The front water crossover includes an angled, ½ pipe boss.
• Use RTV sealant to properly seal end seals, such as Edelbrock High Temp Silicone sealant #1076, DO NOT USE END SEALS GASKETS.
• Hardened washers Must be used with intake bolts to ensure proper torque and prevent galling of the aluminum.
