Designed for engines with up to 14.5:1 compression ratio, nitrous, superchargers, or turbos, FAST's E6 fully digital, multi-spark, CD ignitions deliver higher spark-gap energy that is more precisely controlled than comparable digital CD ignitions. Designed for street and racing use, they come with FAST's \"Plug-n-Go\" universal harness to cover most installations, with optional harnesses available separately. The built-in rev limiter automatically drops cylinders in firing order to prevent fuel loading and is adjustable by increments of 100 from 600-9,900 rpm, without the need for chips. Other built-in features include a tach accuracy check, an internal failure check and status LED for easy problem diagnosis, and crossfire protection for supercharged and turbo applications. The optional 0-20 degree adjustable timing retard and MAP sensor make a great combination for nitrous and turbo applications. They feature fully potted construction with soft urethane for heat, dirt, and moisture protection, and an anodized heat-sink shell for reliability. The HI-6R is designed to be points, mag, or module-triggered for 4, 6, and 8-cylinder engines with distributors.
